I was wondering just if lcpdfr considered that as a crack or not. So I got the launcher pasted into the folder, suddenly gta wanted some registration code, that I don't have. I have checked online for help, and I came across the patch, after running it complained that it wants a launch gta file. I have a legal steam copy (expensive enough for a 12 year old game I think), but in order to mod, I had to downgrade to 1.0.7. My thoughts are these: lcpdfr might think I have a cracked version? Sorry for not putting up any log files, I am not near my pc atm, I will paste them later. The event manager in Windows 10 states, that there was an error with gta.
As soon as I drive around, gta 4 crashes after a few mins. I can activate lcpdfr, go to the station, select a partner etc. Especially the msvp 100.dll or some like that it's called, that was a real ball breaker. Got some nice police cruisers too, and after a few evenings of struggle, I managed to get rid of all the errors that were triggered in the lcpdfr installation check. įirst of all I'm trying to explain what I want to achieve : I was hoping to convert gta 4 into 1980s NY, and I have found a few good mods, especially cars and textures, so things are going the right way.
